ON CORRELATIONS IN GOOD RANDOM NUMBER GENERATORS

By studying a different system, we verify the correlations found recently in a popular random number generator by Ferrenberg et al. We find indeed that the dominant correlations are too long ranged to be seen by them, and we check a number of further RNGs.
