MEASURING CABIBBO-KOBAYASHI-MASKAWA PARAMETERS WITH CP ASYMMETRY AND ISOSPIN ANALYSIS IN B-PI-K

摘要
Isospin relations are used to eliminate hadronic uncertainties in various CP asymmetries in B0 decays via b --> uuBARs, e.g., B0 --> pi-0 K(S). A clean measurement of the angle-alpha of the unitarity triangle is thus made possible. The magnitudes of the tree and the penguin amplitudes can be measured.
