FAST IONIC-CONDUCTION IN NEW OXIDE MATERIALS OF THE BI2O3-LN2O3-TEO2 SYSTEMS (LN = LA, SM, GD, ER)

摘要
The compositional domains at 500°C and room temperature of several solid Solutions labelled, Q (tetragonal symmetry) F,F' (cubic symmtery) ε and R (rhombohedral symmetry) have been determined within the Bi2O3Ln2O3TeO2 systems (Ln = La, Sm, Gd, Er). Their electrical properties have been measured by complex impedance method and analysed as a function of various parameters : nature of the Ln3+ cations, Ln2O3 and TeO3 rates, nature of the phases. The most disordered F and F' phases, whose crystal structure is closely related to the anion-deficient fluorite like δ polymorph of Bi2O3, exhibit the best electrical performance (σ350δC ≅5.10-3μ-Icm-I for the (bi2O3)90(La2O3)2 6 (TeO2)4 F-type phase). Possible diffusion pathways have been proposed for oxygen migration in the rhombohedral ε -type phases. © 1990.
