摘要
The major flavone glycoside in parsley leaves has been identified as 6''-O-malonylapiin. This compound as well as apiin were induced approximately two-fold by a single ozone pulse (10 hr, 0.2 ppm). An increase of apiin (but not of 6''-O-malonylapiin), as well as of ascorbate, was also observed in the parsley leaf intercellular wash fluid (the apoplast compartment). Besides UV light and 12-oxo-phytodienoic acid (a jasmonic acid biosynthetic precursor) ozone is the third known inducer of flavone glycosides in parsley.
