摘要：

Three children whose clinical diagnoses were acute encephalitis were found atpostmortem examination to have acute hemorrhagic pancreatitis in addition to the cerebral lesion. The clinical and pathologic manifestations had many similarities to other cases of degenerative visceral changes described with encephalopathy. This syndrome and its variations may represent a generalized reaction to a virus infection, the intensity being dependent on the host-immune response. © 1968.
