摘要
The dislocation density of deformed copper single crystals was determined at various depths from the original crystal surface. No variation was found to depths greater than 500 μ. On the basis of these experiments and a consideration of the literature, the existence of a near surface debris layer in copper was considered unlikely. © 1969.
