The effects of substituting La ions by Sr ions and annealing in oxygen atmosphere on the conduction properties of the T*-phase of (Ln1-x-y,Ln'(x),Sr(y))2CuO4-delta were elucidated by measuring the Hall effect and by iodometric titration. Superconductivity appeared in compounds having a Hall coefficient of (eR(H))-1 > 0(21) cm-3. Even when the average excess valence of Cu ions was the same, the carrier concentration, varied with the kind of lanthanide ions (Ln and Ln').
