摘要
A mixture of proteins migrated into a linear gradient of polyacrylamide gel in the direction of increasing concentration produces a high resolution of proteins and forms a distinct pattern which remains constant from 18,000 to 26,000 volt-hours. The proteins continually move, but after 18,000 volt-hours the log of the distance traversed by a protein was found to be directly proportional to the log of the molecular weight of 12 of 13 known proteins. © 1969, American Chemical Society.
