摘要
The Graetz‐Nusselt problem for polymeric flow in a constant wall temperature tube was studied, using a temperature‐dependent power law rheological model and temperature dependent fluid properties. Theoretical results compare within 6% of experimental results. The fluid model predicts an experimentally observed temperature maxima at a reduced radius between 0.7 and 0.8 for cooling at low flow rates. Copyright © 1969 American Institute of Chemical Engineers
