摘要
A case of ascending aortic aneurysm associated with coarctation of the aorta and Turner's syndrome is presented. The progression in the size of the aneurysm and in the amount of aortic insufficiency, even after resection of the coarctation, is stressed. Resection of the ascending aorta with transplantation of the coronary vessels and aortic valve replacement resulted in a striking improvement. Histologic examination of the ascending aorta revealed medial necrosis with dissection. © 1969.
