摘要
Infrared properties of quark gas at finite density are studied using renormalization-group-improved perturbation theory. The running coupling constant shows color charge screening in the infrared region and asymptotic freedom in the ultraviolet region. Color density correlations are finite. Instanton contributions to the partition function are estimated and found to be large at low density. Possible ambiguities of the perturbation expansion in the many-body medium are discussed. © 1979 The American Physical Society.
