A NEW NMR METHOD FOR MEASURING THE LOCAL CORRELATION TIMES OF MOLECULES IN THE LIQUID-STATE

摘要
The steady-state magnetizations of homonuclear spins experiencing a strong off-resonance irradiation are aligned with the effective field. Their amplitude is a function of the correlation time and of the angle between the static field and the effective field in the rotating frame. By varying the latter, one can determine the effective local correlation time or test large departure from isotropic Brownian rotation. Experimental illustrations are given.
