A direct electric current of density J > 10(2) A/cm2 was passed for several h through polycrystalline samples of DyBa2Cu3O6+delta (delta = 0.3-0.7) and Tl2Ba2CuO6+DELTA (delta almost-equal-to- 0.1 ) which were immersed in liquid nitrogen. We have found a significant change in the temperature dependences of the electric resistance R(T) and an increase in the superconducting temperature T(c) after this procedure. The observed changes in R(T) and T(c) under action of the current can be explained by the oxygen redistribution and long-range ionic electromigration.
