摘要
The in-situ QCM-technique is applied to the palladium-hydrogen or palladium-deuterium system. The amount of hydrogen (deuterium) absorbed into the palladium is controlled by changing the potential applied to the palladium. The absorbed hydrogen (deuterium) would create the stress which gives rise to significant deviation from Sauerbrey's equation. The apparent relation between changes in mass and resonance frequency is reported for the alpha- and beta-phases of the Pd-H(D) system. The stress factors influencing the QCM results are discussed.
