摘要
Amorphous and nano-crystalline FeTi at the equiatomic composition have been prepared by ball-milling using tungsten carbide balls. It is found that the final state after ball milling is crucially dependant on the oxygen content. Higher oxygen content (higher than 2.9 at%) leads to the formation of an amorphous alloy. The pressure concentration isotherms of both types of alloys have been examined by gas titration at pressures up to 35 bars at room temperature.
