Balancing the work/home interface: A European perspective

摘要
This article first briefly considers some of the transitions occurring in workplaces and families and implications for human resource management. It then outlines the European approach to work and family issues and argues that despite apparent differences from the US approach, both point to the need for workplace culture change within a partnership framework. We propose an expanded business case for organizational change which incorporates the perspectives of a range of stakeholders. Finally we propose an agenda for further change and indicate some related directions for future research.
