摘要
The so far unknown compound Ba9Ir9-xMnxO27 (x = 5.8) was prepared and investigated using the X-ray single crystal technique. It crystallizes rhombohedral in the 9L stacking polytype with the sequence (hhc)3 (space group D3d5-R 3 ̄m; a = 5.709 A ̊; c = 21.319 A ̊, Z = 1). Face-shared octahedra triples, statistically occupied by Ir4+ Mn4+ are connected at the corners to a three dimensional frame. Relations to other structures are discussed. © 1990.
