IS IT POSSIBLE TO DISTINGUISH BETWEEN STANDARD AND SUPERSYMMETRIC GLASHOW-WEINBERG-SALAM MODELS BY MEASUREMENT OF TOP QUARK AND HIGGS BOSON MASSES

摘要
We point out that if the top quark is heavy (m(tau) greater-than-or-equal-to 150 GeV) then the predictions for the Higgs boson mass in the standard Glashow-Weinberg-Salam model and in its supersymmetric extension are in different regions and the measurement of the Higgs boson mass allows to distinguish between the models.
