摘要
A mathematical model has been developed for the prediction of the optimum design of packed and plate columns for the manufacture of nitric acid. The effects of inlet NO(x) composition, extent of oxidation and extent of absorption in each stage, temperature, and pressure have been included in the model. The optimization of the preoxidizer and the condenser has also been discussed.
