摘要
Optical potentials for Lambda and Sigma scattering off nuclei are developed based on a global nucleon-nucleus Dirac optical potential and the constituent-quark-model values of the meson-baryon coupling constants. The differential cross section and analyzing power are calculated for a few energies and nuclei. The tenser coupling has a large effect on the predictions for the analyzing power.
