摘要
The surprisingly low reaction rate of anisole (compared to benzene) towards ''Clayzic'' catalysed Friedel-Crafts benzylation at ambient temperature, has been explained and used to show the presence and identify the origin of, both Bronsted and Lewis acid sites in ''Clayzic''.
