摘要
:
Patients with spontaneous ocular venous pulsation and normal intracranial pressure were examined. Obliteration of the venous pulse was noted during controlled jugular compression with simultaneous recording of the spinal-fluid pressure. The mean pressure for obliterating the pulse was about 200 mm ± 25 mm H2O cerebrospinal-fluid pressure. It is concluded that the presence of a venous pulse indicates no significant elevation of intracranial pressure. © 1969.
