摘要
Experiments are described on velocity and entrained droplet mass velocity distribution following injection of liquid into a gas stream flowing in a tube, the injection being through an axially placed small bore tube. The results demonstrate that, even after 17 ft, the pressure gradient, film thickness and integrated flow of entrained water droplets was quite different from the case where liquid was injected around the periphery of the tube. The droplet flow profiles tended to be asymmetric and complex, the results suggesting that some swirl may have been introduced by the injection method. © 1968.
