摘要
A laser diode based detector for laser-induced fluorescence was designed. Sensitivity measurements with rhodamine 800 showed a detection limit of 100 molecules. Using time-resolved fluorescence measurements new fluorescent dyes, called multiplex dyes, were recognized with a pulsed laser diode by their characteristic fluorescence lifetime and a pattern recognition technique collecting only a few hundred photons.
