摘要
Laser-excited, time-resolved site-selection spectroscopy techniques were used to investigate energy transfer between Nd3+ ions in Y3Al5O12 and Y3Ga5O12 crystals. The results are consistent with a multistep diffusion type of energy transfer with the mechanisms for diffusion and trapping both involving resonant two-phonon-assisted processes. © 1979 The American Physical Society.
