摘要：

The effect of doxorubicin on the 45Ca exchange of mouse cardiac cells in culture was investigated. The study indicated that in the absence of the antitumor antibiotic the cellular 45Ca washout curves were resolved into three components, whereas in the presence of the antibiotic the 45Ca washout curves could be resolved into two phases with a t 1/2 = 3.54 min and 29.07 min, respectively. These kinetic studies indicated that doxorubicin reduces the exchangeable cellular calcium without altering the total calcium concentration. This effect is probably a direct one at the membrane level. © 1979 The Italian Pharmacological Society.
