摘要
1. 1. In rats infected with either Nematospiroides dubius or Nippostrongylus brasiliensis the rate of aerobic lactate production by rings of distal ileum significantly increased above control levels so that the Pasteur effect, present in the normal rat ileum, was abolished. 2. 2. The wet weight and thickness of the distal ileum did not change significantly during infection, but the length of the crypts of Lieberkühn increased significantly, suggesting an increased rate of crypt cell production. 3. 3. It is suggested that the increased rate of aerobic glycolysis during infection was caused by an increased rate of cell production. © 1979.
