摘要
The effect of roquefortine, a secondary metabolite of Penicillium roqueforti on microorganisms, was investigated. The growth of gram-positive organisms containing hemins was inhibited, whereas Lactobacteria and Clostridia which lack these hemins were only impaired. The growth of gram-negative cells was not affected; therefore, it is supposed that there is no transport of roquefortine into these cells. © 1979 Springer-Verlag.
