摘要
The glycoprotein nature of five lignin peroxidases has been investigated. By gas-liquid chromatography the isoenzymes were found to contain two N-acetylglucosamines and from 14 to 18 mannose residues. Deglycosylation by Endo H decreased the apparent molecular weight of all isoenzymes by about 2 kDa. These results suggest that lignin peroxidases contain one N-linked sugar chain. In addition, O-linked monosaccharides are also present because the deglycosylated isoenzymes stained strongly with a glycoprotein specific staining and treatment with a strong base resulted in the characteristic increase of absorbance at 241 nm. © 1990.
