摘要
:
The yellow or brown color of polluted air is often attributed to the wavelength dependent absorption coefficient of the gas, NO2. A comparison of the extinction coefficient due to light scattering with that due to absorption by NO2 from simultaneous measurements suggests that the color is due to wavelength dependent light scattering. © 1969.
