摘要
Based upon Keldysh nonequilibrium Green functions, a theoretical formalism is developed to study the current-noise characteristics of one-dimensional double-barrier heterostructures. The effects of the Coulomb blockade on the I-V curve and on the current fluctuation is studied. For the static case a reduction of the full shot noise is observed. A connection between the noise frequency dependence and the transit time of the electron going through the structure is established.
