摘要
A dynamic model of a metal-oxide semiconductor gas sensor is proposed and discussed as a tool for obtaining a substantial reduction of the time needed for sensor calibration. The sensor dynamics turn out to be well represented using a simple exponential model. The prediction of the steady-state value from the initial part of the transient permits a reduction of the calibration time by about a factor of four without loss of accuracy.
