POLARIZATION DICHROISM OF NONLINEAR REFRACTION IN ZINCBLENDE SEMICONDUCTORS

摘要
All tensor components of the nonlinear refraction of three zinc-blende structure semiconductors, InSb, GaAs and ZnSe are calculated over the spectral range below the band edge (0 < HBARomega < E(g)), within the Kane four-band model. The resulting linear/circular dichroism is shown to be closely a universal function of HBARomega/E(g). Kleinmann symmetry is obeyed only in the zero-frequency limit.
