摘要
A new type of organic conductors with three component system which contains not only a donor and an anion but also the third component, a cation, was prepared. The X-ray analysis shows that the donor arrangement of (BEDT-TTF)3Li0.5Hg(SCN)4(H2O)2 is close to that of beta-(BEDT-TTF)2I3 and the calculated Fermi surface is closed, while alpha"-(BEDT-TTF)2CsHg(SCN)4 affords a one-dimensional band structure not along the typical side-by-side direction, but in the donor stacking direction. The metal-semiconductor transitions occur around 170 K for the Li salt and 210 K for the Cs salt, respectively.
