In this review, the modern data on the polypeptide and carbohydrate structures of human corticosteroid-binding globulin (CBG) and sex hormone-binding globulin (SHBG) as well as on the biochemical properties and biological functions of these steroid-binding glycoproteins are discussed. © 1990.
