摘要
Four control techniques applied to fed-batch fermentations of glucose by Candida utilis CBS 621 are presented. Respiratory quotient (RQ), residual glucose concentration (RGC) and glucose feed rate (GFR) have been used as control tools. The best control strategy, to optimize the growth of C. utilis, was obtained after taking into account RQ, RGC and GFR simultaneously.
