摘要
Focuses on examples of the strategies developed for using plant pathogens as biological control agents, on the epidemiology of the pathogens of weeds, and on the potential genetic significance of the widespread use of pathogens in biocontrol of weeds. Introduction of specific isolates of exotic pathogens or by the commercialization of endemic pathogens have been demonstrably successful; new products are in view; and the application of molecular techniques bodes well for the future. -P.J.Jarvis
