摘要
Pure SSZ-24 was prepared for structure analysis using high-resolution powder X-ray data. Rietveld refinements of both the as-synthesized and the calcined material confirmed that SSZ-24 is indeed the silica analog of AlPO4-5. The structural explanation for the fact that SSZ-24 does not form as readily as does the isotypic AlPO4-5 is presented.
