EXACT SOLUTION OF THE MILBURN EQUATION FOR THE JAYNES-CUMMINGS MODEL WITH AN INTENSITY-DEPENDENT INTERACTION

摘要
An exact solution of the Milburn equation is given for the Jaynes-Cummings model with an intensity-dependent interaction. The time evolutions of the atomic inversion and the photon number distribution are investigated. It is shown that intrinsic decoherence in the atom-field interaction is responsible for the deterioration of the revivals of the atomic inversion and the oscillatory behaviour of the photon number distribution.
