MICROMAGNETISM IN HEAVY-FERMION COMPOUNDS

摘要
We examine the development of magnetism in a Kondo lattice within a mixed fermion-bose representation of the spins. It is suggested that the tiny ordered moments in heavy-fermion superconductors form a critically screened local moment magnet, where the size of the moment is set by the critical spin for a Heisenberg magnet S(c) in a three-dimensional lattice.
