We report the discovery of a possible Wolf-Rayet star located at 0.5 pc projected radius from the center of the Galaxy. A K-band (2.2 mu m) spectrum of the Galactic center object shows strong similarities with published K-band spectra of WC9 stars, including emission lines due to He I at 2.06 mu m, the C IV 3d(2)D-3p(2)P(0) multiplet with components between 2.071 and 2.084 mu m, and a blend of two C III lines and He I near 2.11 mu m.
