摘要
This study investigated the effects of symbolization on the reproduction of modeling stimuli in a group of mediating and a group of non-mediating children directly after the observation period and four weeks later. During the observation period, one group verbalized the model's behaviour, a second group observed passively and a third group was engaged in irrelevant verbalizations. There was an equal number of children from the M- and NM-group under the three treatment conditions. In the M-group the relevant verbalization condition influenced the subsequent reproduction of matching responses in both post-tests, the irrelevant verbalization condition did not. The treatment conditions had no influence on the reproduction of matching responses in the NM-group in both post-tests. The results of this study were compared with those of Bandura et al. Learning in a Group of Mediating and a Group of Non-Mediating Children. © 1969 S. Karger AG, Basel.
