摘要：

The phase behaviour of stiff-chain polyesters bearing flexible side chains is presented and compared to model calculations on the base of the Flory lattice model. The factors governing the stability of the various ordered phases is discussed. It is shown that the high nematic-to-isotropic transition temperatures are in qualitative agreement with theory.
