摘要：

A photograph of the non-thermal radio source G 290.1-0.8 has been obtained in the light of [S II] (6717 + 6731 Å) at the prime focus of the Anglo-Australian Telescope. The plate shows a circular patch of emission and a number of filaments coincident with the steep edge of the radio shell. The filaments have spectra typical of supernova remnants with low values of the Ha/[S II] ratio. © Royal Astronomical Society.
