摘要
A method for determining inorganic phosphate using a salicylate-sensitive membrane electrode is described, based on the detection of salicylate formed by enzymatic hydrolysis of o-carboxyphenyl phosphate by alkaline phosphatase in the presence of phosphate. The phosphate inhibited competitively the formation of salicylate to an extent inversely proportional to the concentration of added phosphate, detected down to 0.05 mM. The method was successfully applied to the determination of phosphate in blood serum.
