MAGNETISM IN HEAVY-FERMION SYSTEMS PROBED BY MU(+)SR SPECTROSCOPY

摘要
The advantages of the mu+SR technique for studying the unusual magnetic properties of heavy-fermion systems are briefly presented. The high sensitivity of the mu+SR technique for detecting very small static magnetic moments is illustrated with examples. Mu+SR measurements aimed at elucidating the microscopic coexistence between magnetism and superconductivity are reviewed and experiments with implanted muons probing multidomain structures are briefly discussed.
