摘要
We demonstrate the strength of second-order Raman scattering in probing strain limited to mesoscopic dimensions. This method is shown to be powerful in evaluating the degree of homogeneity at the interface of mismatched epitaxial layers. We use this method to re-examine neutron scattering results of the LO phonon frequencies at zone edge.
