摘要
A 980 nm ridge waveguide pseudomorphic InGaAs/GaAs/ AlGaAs single quantum well laser that satisfies the requirements on compact and efficient pump sources for erbium-doped optical fiber amplifiers has been fabricated. The laser oscillates in the fundamental spatial mode and emits a maximum single-ended output power of 240 mW. © 1990 IEEE
