ISOMERIZATION OF 1-COBALTA-2-PHOSPHA-1,3-DIENE TO TRICARBONYL-(1-PHOSPHAALLYL) COBALT

摘要
The reaction of (2,4,6-tBu3C6H2O)[(Ph)(H)CC(H)]PCl, I, with NaCo(CO)4, II, yields the tricarbonyl(1-phosphaallyl)cobalt complex η3-[(R)P{A figure is presented}C(H){A figure is presented}C(H)(Ph)]Co(CO)3, III, (R = 2,4,6-tBu3C6H2O) and the bimetallic compound Co2(CO)6{μ2-P(R)[C(H)C(H)(Ph)]}2, IV, (R = 2,4,6-tBu3C6H2O). The formation of III and IV from the 1-cobalta-2-phospha-1,3-dien intermediate (CO)3CoP(R)C(H)C(H)(Ph) (V) is discussed: Isomerization of V gives the 1-phosphaallyl complex III, whereas dimerization of V yields IV. © 1990.
