摘要
A new polyhydroxy functionalized support, derived front reaction composites of epoxidized polybutadienes and silicas, is tested as a stationary phase for high performance liquid chromatography. As demonstrated in various chromatographic separations, the retention behaviour of different test solutes depends on their polarity and hydrogen bond forming ability. A number of phenolic compounds, xanthine derivatives, and steroid samples is chromatographed under isocratic conditions with hexane, methanol and THF as eluents.
